Yeah, honestly he wouldn't even get half the hate he gets in canon if it was revealed he was human or had part of a human mind in him and was forced to become an AI host, everyone would be talking about the tragedy of having his humanity striped or something.

Which hopefully is not the case, he should be able to be empathized with in spite of his inorganic and artificial nature because at the end of the day he can feel and hurt in his own unique way and that's fine
