>instead of fucking around and roaming the map as usual, unless on an active campaign or besieging, all parties go back to a settlement they own and just settle there, only coming out to patrol nearby every few days
>lords gather on the settlement owned by the faction leader and have a 3-5 holiday of feasting, tourneying, attending ceremonies and socializing
>random events like fights breaking out between nobles, affairs and new intrigues
>if the town is very poor or low on food they riot if there's not enough food left afterwards to give out
>small chance of a plague breaking out

There's so much fucking roleplaying that could be done with this game, legitimately insane it's still just a battle simulator.
