The way I see it, Bitcoin is an obvious Ponzi scheme, because it has little practical worth for everyday people and a bunch of grifters in Silicon Valley turned it into a blatant tool of speculation. That said, if you are smart enough to make your earnings liquid before the year inevitable panic sets in, then good on you, I’m happy you made it. But for the most part, I see it as a distraction from the degrading of our society and the hard work it will take to improve things
