For every Renzo, we get an Era or sharkboy. Sometimes they manage a revision that works but not enough. You have a 1/5 chance of a concept being 1:1 with 50% of that chance it somehow turning out bad, a 1/5 chance it'll be a revision that looks better like Hihiwire with a mask, and 3/5 that they royally fuck it up.
I can only think of Cinder as a concept they didn't fuck up recently, the current BP skins all being hated with some being 1:1 doesn't translate well to most survey skins.
