BTW notice how America manipulates character design. USA never makes legit ugly protagonists, and certainly not MCs. That’s why this character who is supposed to be brutally ugly is drawn in such a cute way. Very round, soft features meant to invoke feelings of being "cute" in the same manner of a plushie or something. "Not sexually attractive" is the utmost America can do to make a MC "ugly".
