Why the fuck did they send Johnson or humans altogether besides MC? Covenant needs humans to activate big galaxy superweapon. They don't have humans on standby because the writers made Truth retarded. So if they did nothing or only sent MC who's too powerful to capture or Elites, there's no risk whatsoever. Truth would be preaching all day without a way to activate the rings.
