I understand why businesses don't want to enter high-risk areas, and I don't fault them for it. Unfortunately that partially causes, and perpetuates a cycle of poverty, desperation, and crime.
Reparations aren't happening, anyone who says otherwise is just trying to get the vote. Even targeted reparations where only companies who directly profited off of slavery were forced to pay descendants of slaves is too much to ask for at this point.
I agree with an increase of policing being the cure to what ails most black neighborhoods, the media has seen to it that it is too bitter a pill to convince most blacks to swallow.
It probably isn't totally racism. However the agency is made up of individuals, and individuals have their personal beliefs and agendas that will affect the policies that they set forth.
