Like tons of cartoonists WANT to have wacky Ren & Stimpy-like animation in their shows, but keep getting fucked over by the industry. You’re lucky if you’re a cartoonist who gets to work on modern SB.
For example, there were tons of modern day Cartoon Cartoons shorts which were never released thanks to the poor state of our animation industry. Some like Shavonne Cherrys and Fernando Puigs looked quite interesting and cartoony, but I guess we can’t have nice things due to our retarded corporations.
