I agree. I never really cared much for Bakugo, but his character takes up such a large part of the screentime, most of it just screeching on how much he hates Deku because of his inferiority complex, and he ends up not having a good foil or even a villain. It is at its worst when All Might has moments of acknowledging him and his growth, despite only doing the bare minimum of being a decent person. It comes to a point of just making excuses for his behavior. Even the exhibition comments are doing that. People talk about Uraraka's character eventually just orbits around Deku, but Bakugo is legitimately so much worse.

Deku was tired and running on fumes because he wasn't eating or sleeping properly, and it wasn't even a fight since Danger Sense never picked up. They were just trying to get him to see reason and that he doesn't have to do things alone.
