This might look like an old libtard boomer virtue signaling and condemning his past work, but when put in the context of 28 Years Later it takes on a different meaning. 28 Years has an exclusively all white cast, and the historical footage is explicitly nationalistic and emphasizing Anglo survival against all odds. On top of this, the infected hordes are led by a large Arab-looking man. Boyle is secretly redpilled, and pic related is his way of saying “I shouldnt have made movies about brown people as if they are like me when they are not, I’m going to make movies about English people”. In the film he prominently features the St George Cross flag, the flag of the English people (not the Scottish or British flag, nations which have dissappeared with the infected hordes). He cant say it outright but its clear where his mind is at with the inclusion of this aesthetic in the film. Its actually extremely radical and based.
