Anyone know a system similar to 5e that’s much lower fantasy than what 5e assumes? Like where a single ghoul could be a massive monster that you need to prepare for, or where you’d have to travel far and wide to meet a wizard. Technically speaking you can do that in 5e, but the classes and system very much assume magic is commonplace and creatures like ghouls are trashmobs

I know OSR is the place to look, but that’s quite a broad genre at this point
