I know I keep bringing this up, but my doctorate days. I felt like my entire future was depending on the whims of one asshole who doesn't give a shit about me and every way I fought back didn't help.

By the way, since I finished both chapters, I can say that they were really good - it's maybe less of that sense of wonder I had in the beginning, but the story advanced in really interesting ways. Gameplay-wise, I feel that the battles are getting stale, but the chapters seem to be shifting more towards overworld minigames, and those are great. Going for the Chapter 3 secret boss was absolute fucking kino - it very much reminded me of a moment in Zelda Link's Awakening where you go kinda off-script and discover a dark secret about the world. Also, I watched the weird route and while it does not go quite as far as chapter 2, it changes a few important story conversations and they are really, really well done. I'd say I recommend it, but I think everyone who's interested is playing it anyways.
