How did you check? Usually the only 2 ways to check is Crystaldiskinfo and partition manager.

Nonstop clicking is bad.
Random clicking is normal on Seagate drives because they are low quality in general.
When it comes to Enclosures a Ugreen one would be the best option, everything else will also work.
