True. Me and my mates used to love playing TF2, hopping in and out of servers, fucking around and having fun. Don't like the servers or the people? Just hop somewhere else, who gives a shit?
Skill-based matchmaking pretty much killed that though, as we're not around the same skill level (I was way better at OW than them). Whenever we queued up, the matchmaker completely shat itself and matched us again people of my rank and higher. Like the game expected me to carry their asses, never getting opponents with my friend's skill level. Needless to say, 9 out of 10 games were one-sided stomps.
Nowadays I pretty much only play co-op games with my mates.
