The spirits thought it would be funny for the old man's actions to literally bite him in the ass so they tiped the scales with some temporary health, allowing the paramedics to save him. He got sent into a coma for a while before he had his first change so we even got to see he was in the hospital through the news.
Sadly, none of the KFC employees were blessed that way. A part of me wanted to fight a werechicken. Anyway, the old man had to fight him again to prove that the motley were good enough combatants to be allies to a werewolf pack. Our little grocery clerk died, again, because the old man pulled out the termite Molotovs we made.
The funny part is that is that another member of the Motley revived him again, because Asclepians are busted, before setting him with a woman we kidnapped and employed as a maid after burning down her house in search for clues related to the main plot. Pic related was roughly what he looked like with his third chance and why he got the nickname of Crispy.
