height and strength are not things people get by random luck. height requires a lifetime of good nutritional habits and exercise starting from early childhood. a lot of the manlets out there ended up as shorties because instead of eating properly when they were children they chose to have power struggles with their mother and father to see if they could eat only candy and ice cream instead of healthy food. onosato didn't, he chose to do what was best for him instead.
DNA doesn't determine your height, it determines your potential. Takakeisho ended up shorter than his father because it was only later in life that he learned that you gotta eat big to get big.
People talk a lot about phenotype when discussing genetics, but the term "chemovar" rarely pops up. Chemovar refers to the specific expression of a DNA given specific outside inputs. Take two seeds from the same tree and grow one in perfect conditions (the Onosato tree) and you'll get a better result than the one that didn't get watered enough and was in partial shade (the Takakeisho tree).
Here is a pic of identical twins to illustrate the point, the both have the same genes, but its not hard to tell which one put more effort into leading a healthy life.
