Sounds like a plan. Unfortunately it's not too viable for me as my 2nd run will be an Evil Durge with Minthara as the only companion and love interest. It sounds like a match made in heaven. I'll cover whatever I missed on the 3rd run with a full party again on a higher difficulty.

My last save is literally outside the area where you save Baelen. I'm about to harvest a Sussur Bloom or two for future testing in the Camp, then head back to the Grotto to turn in multiple quests. Then only the Grymforge should be left from Act1. (Correction: as immersion breaking it is, I'll have to make a trip back to the Blighted Village to forge the Masterwork Weapon with the Sussur Tree Bark but that's that.) I was wondering how will I able to use the Noblestalk but I guess that's settled then.

The other way is the same, except you have to pick a certain dialogue option to make the kid give the disc up. Then the game reminds you in the Arcane Tower that you've seen one before. Even if you don't find the Decryption Disc nearby Lae'zel could translate it for you.
