First off, are you implying a non-Indie game will use sprites? Second off. Can you name a second digimon that uses a rifle? Because all the gun haver digimon I can think of go at it akimbo.
If you want to talk about pulling a monster hunter in digimon, why don't you bring up that at least 8 digimon are just this shape? Hell, you could probably use the skeleton in skinnier dinosaurs like Geo Greymon too. Or maybe not I don't really know how this stuff works.
