I can see it going either way.
>Shadow Dragon nerfed Marth by "fixing" a lot of FE1's straight up nonfunctional mechanics and Falchion isn't as hilariously broken as its NES version, but also denying him a promotion to compensate, as well as introducing the modern weapon triangle which means there are actual fucking penalties for a sword user going up against lance fighters, and he has little recourse against it
>Echoes buffed growth rates across the board but also that shit would've been unplayable if they had kept them as low as they were back on the NES
Marth never needed the character shilling but he also has first MC privileges, so he's allowed to be play the more idealistic hero while giving his descendant Chrom character space to be the brawny experienced fighter who's more of a threat on the battlefield.
Really my bet is basically how much a hypothetical remake designer really cares about "rehabbing"/shilling Roy. In Awakening's spotpass/DLC stuff they never tried to. Roy is hilariously anemic compared to the other DLC characters and even his eponymous sword is on the weaker end next to Leif, compared to even Eliwood, much less Seliph or Alm.
On the other hand if there's some dedicated Royfags in the designing room I can see them overcranking his growths and bases and god help us a unique limitless leveling feature(so his late promotion doesn't fuck him over) to a degree that would make Awakening look like Thracia 776, and dialogue that jacks him off so much in terms of mental and martial prowess it would make Alm, Corrin and Ike's games look downright restrained in terms of constant MC fellating.
