I remember playing Conquest Hard the first time and having to reset chapters multiple times because I didn't plan correctly to get the bonus objectives. Therefore I got the puzzle wrong and had to start over. But I'd get annoyed if I strategies correctly, got the bonus objectives, but then lost a unit because they got hit by three 30%s in a row, when statistically dodging at LEAST one of them should make it a decent play.

You can call me a cheater for using turnwheel on the second example, but I'm not repaying an entire map when the turn wheel is right in front of me. If I fail the puzzle though and need to restrategize, I have no problem playing from the start.

Really my bet is basically how much a hypothetical remake designer really cares about "rehabbing"/shilling Roy. In Awakening's spotpass/DLC stuff they never tried to. Roy is hilariously anemic compared to the other DLC characters and even his eponymous sword is on the weaker end next to Leif, compared to even Eliwood, much less Seliph or Alm.

On the other hand if there's some dedicated Royfags in the designing room I can see them overcranking his growths and bases and god help us a unique limitless leveling feature(so his late promotion doesn't fuck him over) to a degree that would make Awakening look like Thracia 776, and dialogue that jacks him off so much in terms of mental and martial prowess it would make Alm, Corrin and Ike's games look downright restrained in terms of constant MC fellating.

FE6 is not friendly to blind ironmans. Especially if you're the type of player to move slowly, because you aren't even warned about the Gaiden requirements ahead of time. That said, it's not a difficult ironman for repeat playthroughs.

the actual nightmare hellscape ironman games are fe7 and conquest. i think fe7 lost like 9 ironmans and had blatant cheating throughout its 2 successful runs. sacred stones also never had a legitimate ironman during the relay threads since the only one that went to the end had multiple characters with multiple deaths on their endscreens. FE6 was easy by comparison because you get so many op units to carry the shitter squad throughout the game so deaths dont matter at all. FE7 really fucks you for losing even a single unit like priscilla or matthew or florina. I seem to remember order of the crimson arm also game overed like 5 times.

Most anons lost interest in it at that point, then someone else deliberately got half the cast killed in the desert chapter, some other faggots decided to fork it, one of the forks gave up three chapters later and the other arena abused everyone to max level on Four-Fanged Offense, ruining the experience for everyone still following it.
