The worst thing is we did spend a ton of money, it was just wasted and didn't translate into combat effectiveness. But as long as the US doesn't withdraw hastily now and it's a gradual process where the US relocates assets as Europe builds up, everything is good imo. And it seems to be that's where it's going.

I don't think German soldiers will ever move into Russia proper again, maybe Kaliningrad at most. But German missiles may hit Moscow if they attack us or our allies.
