Trump only knew the Epsteins so he could get blackmail on people like Clinton and Obama thus why those letters at the Bush jr funeral happened. Basically Trump letting them know what he had so they couldn't go after him directly and just kill him like they would have otherwise, this is why Jimmy Carter didn't get anything because he was a nobody really.
