Honestly, I got into it just for the Assemble models. Pic related. I got lucky. The card game is a nice bonus and I don't really plan on going super hard competitive. We have some friends and locals who play, and that's enough for me.

Nah, I think the Seed deck is totally fine. It's got a ton of defenders and a base that untaps a defender, a burst that makes a blocker (which is amazing by itself because I don't think any of the other bursts makes a token, and making a token on your opponent's turn means it can attack on yours), it has big tempo with bounce and AP changing, and MA Aegis is the cheapest breach that can attack whatever it wants when it's linked.
