Sometimes I get this feeling that hospitals were intentionally made to have confusing layouts. The first time I was deployed for warding at around 2 AM as an intern, I had to walk (almost run) with a staff member who could extract blood in just a few minutes for each patient. I don't even know how many wards we passed through until we finally went back to the laboratory since everything almost looked the same...
