I have delved deeper into the mysteries of the Quran. What I can say about this is the following. There is some sort of gnosis described in the coran itself. It speaks of "worship until certainty comes to you" another verse says "knowledge of certainty" and an "eye of certainty". And then the next verse speaks of judgement day. So what I figured is this is gnosis. That's what yaqeen, Arabic for certainty, is. Do you have any additional infos on this yaqeen? Any info regarding Irfan is also welcome. Marifat is a later Sufi thing and I want to hear only about Irfan and yaqeen please. Pic unrelated. Also anything you know about gnosis before Islam which possibly influenced the religion is also good. Irfan is probably not a term invented by Islam right?

I have this new theory or theories about reality and it's very simple. There is a god. There is awakening from the dream of material life. The process of this awakening unfolds through: prayer, meditation, asceticism, not lying, and celibacy. That's it. I think I might be wrong on the big stuff, but I have personally seen how these five practices have led me to higher states of bliss in my consciousness.
