It would have been so fucking peak if Grillby ever shows up and it's like him training Kris some fire magic or something to do with cooking

this is far fetched but I like the idea that "old gang" is the monsters from Undertale who are absent or just NPCs that never had a chance for fight and can become awesome (see Gerson)
