I make cocktails and long drinks for myself and friends, so the cost factor was never really an issue. But I tend to get them only rarely when not at home.
>it is worth considering why you drink
Usually it's on the weekend when I want to have fun with friends. In my mind that and drinking have started to be kind of associated and usually I don't feel like stopping, which is the most dangerous part.
I've had phases in the past where I drank nothing or only very little for months, but often when I do drink, even if it's just a glass of white wine or a whisky mixed with coke, I end up ordering or getting more.
And it doesn't help that I am currently unemployed and more than enough money to spend, so I got enough free time to just have a day of hangover while also buying alcohol.
Anyway, I'm yapping, and I think I should just stop drinking. Find some kind of substite I guess. Maybe drink coke instead, even if that's also unhealthy.
