If Nintendo was so averse to people playing classic style races that they're willing to actively hamper their ability to online, WHY DID THEY EVEN PUT THE GODDAMN CLASSIC STYLE RACES INTO THE GAME?

You wanna make a Mario Kart spinoff, fine, make a spinoff and go all-in on it, Nintendo. Don't dick around with people after they bought it and work to deliberately further rip away classic gameplay that you clearly don't want them playing.
