dedede doesn't really have an army of sorts due to being self proclaimed for the longest time. sure sometimes he has waddle dees with spears but i take that as just citizens of dream land who like the guy more than anything, hell some of his friends he has in adventure like whispy and kracko (and meta knight but he just seems to do whatever he wants) have fought in future games. it's less a true army and more whoever's chummy or sides with dedede at the moment.
