I'm speaking of those who claim to be "this or that" and support "this political group" but act so outrageously purist and skitzo that it would be a shame if they were not being paid to make the movements they claim look so horrible

Yeah ancient history is neat and all, but we’re talking about shit happening now and how you can’t even do the simple task of taking a country, and Putin has all these frozen conflicts he’s exploiting which look a lot like Donbas that he could use in the same way to retake all those countries and everything is fucking hinging on this very important war where he can take Ukraine in three days to restore the USSR before he dies. You know it’s really REALLY important that it’s taken intact, so you get all the factories and infrastructure to rebuild the motherland.
Oh and it’s completely necessary to maintain the big Soviet stockpiles after taking Ukraine because Russia can’t afford to lose that either.

There’s clearly never going to be an implied deadline for this that ends in total disaster.
