And there are some madmen who look at this world and say "MORE!" and dive back in for hundreds of more lifetimes, and these people come being entrusted with the most valuable spirits. You're a daughter of Aphrodite and need protection? Call upon an operator that's lived a hundred lifetimes in the ways of war, has a kill count in the 5 digits, probably ended a empire or two, and was going to sign up for another 24 lifetimes because the soul needs an actual challenge.
It's why Angels are so gung-ho about us, we're basically little bros to them. There's so much camaraderie when the astral realm is filled with hedonist utopias, compared to their strict and martial hierarchy. Know you're worth, and don't settle for less.
