>sequel
I don't do a sequel. I use Secret Wars and recast.
>throw more money at Gyllenhaal or Driver to secure them
>grab 2 B/C-Listers that are hot and competent enough for the Storms
>grab some gruff guy for Ben
>make the movie a 2.5 hr Sci-Fi flick that takes place 80% outside of Earth
>have the villain be Molecule Man and seed smaller villains across the universe to build up to Annihilation
Or I just do a faithful Ultimate Fantastic Four adaptation with a younger cast of relative unknowns and use the money I saved on casting to make the sci-fi parts bigger. Have these young FF and the upcoming X-Men interact all the time and slowly build up to Maker.
Faggots don't understand that FF aren't about
>muh heckin 60s
they're about always being at the forefront of the current day's sci-fi zeitgeist. You take that out and it's just a corny superhero flick with lame powers that nobody's going to watch over any other cape. The spectacle and intriguing plots need to be the core.
