Reading this thread I guess I'm not the only one who watched the first two episodes and then paused. Maybe I'll keep going tomorrow but it's just too much to binge.

So far it's an improvement over S3 but the bar couldn't be lower. The fat fuck Faks are thankfully relegated to the background. Carmy is being less of a bitchy faggot and more of a contrite, resigned chef. I'm really tired of the repetitive platitudes about how, at the end of the day, a restaurant is supposed to be a great place where family can get together and bond and make great memories. IT'S ALL ABOUT LE FAMILY x100. Holy shit we get it already. They keep pushing these one-liners as if it's a profound discovery by half the cast when they're really beating a dead horse. That's not even getting into the fact that most of the characters seem like they WANT the restaurant to fail so they could all move on to less stressful environments. They all seem to be there out of obligation.
