I only have this problem with her and Burn Local. I can understand the other characters just fine even if they have accents like Tina and Ebra the based Somali pirate. The only time I understand what Sydney is saying right off the bat is when she's not mumbling, i.e. yelling
S2 really did ruin this show
got showered with praise and now the writers just seem to be chasing the same high by constantly bringing back the same characters (how many times do we need to see the staff from Ever? we get it, Forks was good), doing more gimmick episodes, more celebrity cameos, more le dysfunctional but actually secretly wholesome family drama.
I miss when the show was about a run down, humble sandwich shop getting back on its feet but now its about the wonders of fine dining that only rich people can afford. The spirit and trajectory of the show is ruined, it also feels directionless and like they have no idea what to do with it or how to end it.
