assuming she actually liked me and wasn't immediately repulsed, i imagine it would bolster my limited self-confidence. My lack of any relationship in my life has started eroding all other areas of my life, making me feel inadequate in all facets despite success elsewhere in my life. Having that one person in my life who likes me for me and helps boost me to my ideal self is exactly what I want in my life. The lack of ever being accepted or even approached is what has largely undermined my self confidence. It's hard to think you are at all desirable or of any value if you've never had a person pursue you in your life.
