i played alot of mecha break, including the beta. Honestly this genre is so niche that any fuck ups can easily discourage people from playing, and this game is the perfect example.
The base game design is pretty good: 6v6 team fight, fast mech combat, each mech has wide range of utilities instead of ultimate ability. They also have some asset for PvE contents too.
Yet there's so many things they did wrong:
-extremely shit ass menu UI & tab design, there's tons of people asking how to access this and that in the community. The match objective doesnt even show for you until you are on the loading screen into the match, after you already picked the mech
-no actual PVE contents, holy shit the extraction mode was super cancer and it's just unbalanced PvP hunting ground. Not as bad as the beta but still unfun to play with the meta mech choices and weapons they bring in
-the 6v6 PVP is the main mode (with ranked option as default), yet they still fuck it up by having no reward for the casual mode, the most played mode of any popular PvP games
-the game adds BOTS INTO RANKED mode. you have to climb high in rank to see almost all matches with actual people. This is to manipulate player engagement with fake wins and inflate the chinks' ego.
How the fuck do the dev said they wanted casual audience all over the world but they did all of those above? chinks can make good stuff by copying existing stuff but they are still way too retarded in running multiplayer games
fuck the dev for these shits but I love the mechs, very good designs and actually fun to learn and play with pretty impressive skill ceiling
