The original shadowverse, at its peak, was the 2nd best card game in the world, beating out even Hearthstone. The mechanics were pretty good and very fun. They eventually released a paper irl version called evolved, but never tried it. The game kind of lost its way because of esports catering over time, but worlds beyond will basically be a complete overhaul of even the engine. Will have lobby world (players roam the world with avatars playing mini games or and looking for card tables, socialize, etc) and everything has been enhanced by alot, including the VAs.
It will be a true reboot of the game, going from a amateur indie game project to a professional looking game.
