All aspects of life can be made cool in a piece of media
A wheelchair can be an epic battle tank, a limbless character can tell a story about their dark past, etc
The issue isn't these traits, it's how they're treated
It's only a problem when the disability is no different than "coffee shop AU in fantasy world" aka the wheelchair is like a regular modern wheelchair and that's it
The problem isn't disability in fiction, it's a lack of imagination
A good writer can make anything cool and a bad writer can make anything lame
