>x11 is getting deprecated
If we're to believe the Xorg "developers" it's already deprecated, dead, abandonware. Despite this is keeps getting maintained and everything supports it as a first class, often better than Wayland.
The problem is Wayland has a fundamentally flawed design architecture and needs to be replaced with something new. People have spent 10 years trying to hack their applications into it, and it's still busted.
