This and Kirin's complete lack of characterization

GV and Acura are very well fleshed out characters whose actions, even if stupid at times, make perfect sense in the context of who they are. Kirin doesn't really have any beliefs, motives beyond "doing her job", and is largely reactionary to the shit that happens around her. I think many of GV3's writing sins could be forgiven if Kirin had the depth that the other two protagonists had.
