EB has a ridiculousy indepth campaign if you care about choices and roleplay, combat is great but it's not the only good thing about the game, the content in general is really well done outside of a couple of worlds they clearly didn't have enough money to fully flesh out like Great Tree or Brighthome.
It's an RPG that focuses exclusively on the raw basics, that is combat, character building and roleplaying, it's both its greatest strength and major weakness because more well rounded but less competent games are much more appealing to the general public.
