funfact, the reason RPD ran like shit then got killswitched at launch for crashing consoles was because they imported every single 20k poly world object from the RE engine without decimating them and it just blew up consoles. RE engine has a very generous culling and LOD system that massively crushes polycounts of things you can't see, but in DBD the whole map is loaded and huge chunks of it are rendered at once with little LOD use, so it was just hard crashing console VRAM lol
