nah xiv has a problem where the gameplay is shit but the mechanics or fights can be fun, which is why other games are starting to implement mmo mechanics into their fights to spice up content.

other games have the issue where the content is annoying to complete or the rewards aren't there, or the story is terrible, so the gameplay is all they have to fall back on.
