Speaking of Tolkien, we really need a Silmarillion cartoon. An animated series is the only way to do the book justice: there's too much material for a movie or even a series of movies, and there's things in it like the creation sequence that would look much better in animation than live-action CGI.

And, of course, it would give us an animated version of Glaurung, one of the greatest dragons in fiction.
