I don't want to sound anti white or anything but i have zero interest in a game made by a bunch of american dudebros who saw a kurosawa film once and thought it was the most epically awesome thing ever. when it comes to historical settings or any setting that dives deep into one countries culture it's almost always more interesting and better done when it's made by the same race of people its portraying. it's why kingdom come deliverance works so well. In the same way I don't think japanese devs would ever have been able to create anything close to what Red Dead achieved. when you're apeing another culture it always comes off as shallow and fake to me, that came through strongly in ghost of tsushima imo
