It was one of the only console exclusives (besides the fact its on PC) that Sony had that people actually gave a damn about for a very short time. Tranny aside, it seems like a fairly by-the-books sequel as far as the amount of new shit added in. Weapons in place of styles is expected, but styles for all the weapons would've been better. Really, the only thing Tsushima needed better combat. Certainly not getting that here, but I imagine it'll be tuned a bit better. Really seems like the worst things are gonna be the plot, and the tranny. Hopefully the eventual PC release will get someone to make a Shinonome Umi mod.

Given Sony's track record with sequels, and the writers the added from veilguard, I'm not confident at all in this game. But we'll see. Even if it's a 20 percent falloff from the first, that's still good enough for me to buy.

Yeah, I though it was going to be more of the same. Story surprisingly sounding the same as Assassin's Creed: Shadows. They couldn't have copied each other so I guess the story itself is really just that generic. Some great improvements like making people in your wolf pack come to you and switching between past and future seem nice. 2 other director modes seem more gimmicky compared to original Kurosawa mode. Just another edition to things you already experienced before. Switching weapons sounds restrictive since they mention certain styles work better over others. You could try other fighting styles but the one that wins the rock-paper-scissors is the preferred option. Card & clue system just seems like their replacement for the wind mechanic of first game. This just feels like the Spider-Man: Miles Morales for Ghost of Tsushima. An improvement to the original in some ways but not enough to say it's sequel materiel since it repackages stuff you did in the first game. Not sure how long it is but it can't be longer than the first game.
