Reporting in again, trying to re-create the Squarepusher Theme so I can cover it with a live bass. It still sounds amateurish because I have no production experience, but I want to try mixing stuff better this weekend.

Another anon told me:
>Make sure you route all of your audio sources to the mixer
>Use eq to tame clashing frequencies
>Compress and make up gain audio tracks that don’t sound as full as you want them
>Emphasize your drum transient with a transient shaper and either apply a subtle distortion or warm saturation to them
>Adjust faders of your mixer channels, minding that the fader is the final stage in the signal chain and affects the overall output level after all the processing
So I'll use that as a guide. But I still don't know
>What frequencies am I supposed to cut, and by how much?
>Where am I supposed to pan things?
>What volumes am I supposed to shoot for before applying any final limiting? both for individual instruments and the master channel?
Not looking to be spoonfed, just need to figure this stuff out on my own
