I did in 2010, but I was living in Korea at the time. I've studied Japanese vigorously since and interned at a Japanese NGO while in university, but every attempt I've made at living/working in/visiting Japan has been met with failure for a number of reasons. Plus, I just read that they're shutting down an iconic arcade in Akihabara, which I visited in 2010. They've already gotten rid of the Gundam Cafe. Japan is changing in other ways that I'm not too fond of as well.
