Got nothing against Venice (aside from hordes of tourists). However, I am on a semi formal trip and only have weekends free.

I enjoyed most places I visited. The nature around Subiaco probably takes the cake. The Vatican was fun, unfortunately couldn't get Patchy to meet the Pope.
