I'm not buying a game that tries to paint Doomguy as some reddit tier superhero mythical legend who can beat and kill anything in the world, can't die and only gets stronger because of anger.

I'm honestly just sick of the dying world where everyones either insane, dead or a monster, outside of the handful of people who go insane or die anyways. It was a cute little novelty in DeS, DaS and Bloodborne but now it borders on parody. I mean even if they give a good reason for it, like a demonic fog or lovecraftian monsters the trope is tiring now. Like why in the fuck is EVERYONE across a continent some shambling husk or demon especially in a world that promotes itself as being more optimistic and godly? They don't have any excuse now that they've grown exponentially.
